On the afternoon of September 18, Assistant Minister Li Chenggang and Tajikistan Minister of Economic Development and Trade Nematullo Hikmatullozoda co-chaired the 10th Meeting of China-Tajikistan Intergovernmental Economic and Trade Cooperation Committee and attended the Tajikistan welcome dinner. The two sides made in-depth exchange of views on jointly building the Belt and Road Initiative, deepening bilateral economic and trade relations, participating in the First China International Import Expo and opposing trade protectionism. Other attendees were representatives from the two countries’ relevant government departments, local departments, chambers of commerce, financial institutions and enterprises. On the same day, Assistant Minister Chenggang and Tajikistan Minister of Economic Development and Trade attended the Tajikistan-Qingdao Business Conversation of the Regional Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Zone of China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Dushanbe, and delivered speeches.
