On April 25, China International Trade Representative (full-ministerial rank) and Vice Minister of Commerce Li Chenggang met with UN Under Secretary General for Humanitarian Affairs Tom Fletcher. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on addressing the impact of the current international economic and trade tensions on humanitarian work, safeguarding the multilateral system with the UN at its core and strengthening cooperation between China and the UN in the humanitarian field.
