On March 3, the Ministerial Conference of RCEP was held in Singapore. Attending were the economic and trade ministers and representatives from 16 countries including the ten ASEAN countries, China, Australia, India, Japan, South Korea and New Zealand. Assistant Minister Li Chenggang, on behalf of Minister Zhong Shan, led a delegation of Chinese government attended the meeting. Based on the consensuses reached at the first meeting of the RCEP leaders, the attending ministers provided guidance on the crucial issues in areas such as promoting RCEP negotiations, goods, services, investment and rules.
